A delegation from Jiangsu University of Architectural Technology (JSUAT) has paid an official visit to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The delegation was welcomed by Alina Galeyeva, Member of the Board and Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of KazNU. She stressed that, being a key scientific platform in the region, the university systematically interacts with leading universities in China. In recent years, a number of breakthrough projects have been launched: a strategic partnership agreement has been signed with the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and Harbin Engineering University, and the branch continues to actively develop. Northwestern Polytechnic University, a supercomputer Cluster, and the Huibo Robotics Center. At the end of her speech, Alina Kulbaevna expressed her readiness to develop a partnership with JSUAT, suggesting considering the possibility of implementing joint educational programs, including modules and double diplomas, conducting joint scientific research in the field of architecture, construction and sustainable development, creating joint laboratories and innovation centers in the field of engineering and urbanism.
Zhu Dongfeng, Secretary of the Committee of the Jiangsu University of Architectural Technology, spoke about the activities of JSUAT, noting that the educational institution is a leader in the field of intelligent construction in China. The university specializes in architectural design, intelligent manufacturing and transportation engineering, has the status of a national demonstration university and participates in the prestigious "Double High Plan" project. The head of the delegation stressed that he sees great potential in joint training of personnel for the digital industry with al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
At the end of the meeting, the parties outlined plans for the implementation of joint double-degree and scientific and educational programs in the fields of electrical engineering, architecture, design and artificial intelligence.
