On January 23, 2026, Professor of the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology and Museology, Tattygul Yersayynkyzy, met with school students for the purpose of professional orientation. During the event, through the presentation of books published in the fields of ethnography, ethnoecology, and ethnozoology — Eastern, Southeastern Kazakhs…, Man and Wolf — a meaningful scientific and educational discourse was conducted within the framework of ethnology and monument studies.

The meeting was held at the “Community” Center of the Auezov District in Almaty, at the invitation of the Social Democratic Party and its city leader, Nurzhan Ibragimov. The event was attended by outstanding students of the district’s Russian‑language schools, including young readers of Kazakh literature.

During the meeting, issues of historical tourism were also raised, and ways to increase the interest of the younger generation in national history and cultural heritage were discussed. It was emphasized that engaging youth in meaningful dialogue contributes to their active involvement in social and cultural initiatives.
