Educational Visit of Law Faculty Students to the Almaty City Police Department
On 3 February 2026, as part of activities aimed at enhancing students’ practical training, students of the Faculty of Law of 91ý Kazakh National University paid an educational visit to the Almaty City Police Department.
The visit involved students from the academic groups YP-124, YP-224, and PK-129. Such off-campus educational activities are of particular importance for future legal professionals, as they contribute to the development of a comprehensive understanding of the practical functioning of law enforcement agencies and the specifics of law enforcement practice.
During the visit, students were given the opportunity to:
- become acquainted with the activities of the Operational Control Center (OCC), which ensures coordination and rapid response of internal affairs bodies;
- visit the Museum of the Almaty City Police Department, reflecting the history of the formation and development of the law enforcement system;
- observe the forensic training ground and gain insight into the practical aspects of forensic science, including methods of evidence collection and examination.
The organization of such events contributes to deepening students’ practical knowledge, developing professional competencies, and strengthening cooperation between the university and law enforcement authorities, which overall has a positive impact on the quality of legal education.
