KazNU teacher became a finalist of the international award

KazNU teacher is among the top 5 finalists of the JoVE Education & Research Innovation Awards 2025

Zhazira Supieva, a lecturer at the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petroleum Chemistry at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was among the five finalists for the international JoVE Education & Research Innovation Awards 2025 in the Educator Innovation Award nomination. Representatives of the USA, Malaysia and Chile also qualified for the finals.

JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) is an international scientific and educational platform that creates video materials for teaching and improving the reproducibility of scientific research. KazNU has been cooperating with JoVE since 2023, which contributes to the introduction of innovative approaches to the educational process and expanding access to modern digital resources.

 

 

The Educator Innovation Award is awarded to teachers who implement advanced teaching methods and develop innovative educational initiatives. In 2025, about 1,000 applications from teachers from around the world were submitted for the competition. The assessment was carried out taking into account the participants' contribution to the modernization of the educational process, the use of digital technologies and the improvement of the quality of education.

Zhazira Supiyeva's appearance in the finals confirms her high professional level and systematic work on the introduction of modern educational technologies. This achievement also testifies to the high level of KazNU's academic and scientific activities and its recognition in the international arena.
