The exhibition "Values in a doll" opened in KazNU
The opening ceremony of the exhibition "Values in a doll", organized within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, took place at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The event was organized in order to implement the direction "Preservation and consideration of cultural heritage" within the framework of the indicator "Sustainable settlements and cities".

The exhibition featured a collection of dolls by the famous artist, professional sculptor, graduate of the Leningrad Academy of Arts named after I.E. Repin Pernegul Omarova. She is the author and creator of the miniature sculptures "Gasyrlar besigi" ("Cradle of the Ages") in Kazakhstan. Her name is well known in the USA, France, Finland, Italy, Germany, Canada, Japan, Qatar and Russia.

The historical and ethnographic museum exposition reflects the historical development of the Kazakh people, their way of life, traditions, culture and worldview. The project is aimed at a comprehensive disclosure of the social, cultural and ethnic characteristics of the Kazakh people.

31 miniature sculptures of the author were presented to the public at the exhibition. Each doll is made in a single copy.

Most of the works of decorative and applied art are miniature sculptures that convey the spiritual world of women. Among the images are a wise grandmother, a faithful spouse, a gentle mother, a caring sister, and a brave warrior girl.
