The partnership between the university and the Research Institute is reaching a new level
Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with the directors of the research institutes that are part of the «覓褘谢褘屑 芯褉写邪褋褘».
The meeting was attended by Vyacheslav Lokshin, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kenzhekhan Matyzhanov, Director General of the M.Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, Maktagali Bektemesov, Director of the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies, Zair Ualiev, Director of the Zholdasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science, Mahmud Sadybekov, Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling, Akhmeta Baitursynuly Anar Fazylzhan, Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies Aigul Saduakassova, Ular Mukazhanov, General Director of Gylym Ordasy, and other heads of institutes.
During the meeting, issues of strengthening the integration of science and industry, supporting young scientists, implementing joint research projects, expanding opportunities for participation in international grants and modernizing scientific infrastructure were discussed. The parties noted the need to commercialize the results of scientific research, develop a network of modern laboratories and increase the number of interdisciplinary projects. In addition, the importance of actively publishing joint articles by KazNU and SRI scientists in international scientific journals was emphasized.
In his speech, Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted that strengthening the strategic partnership between the university and research institutes is a key mechanism for increasing the competitiveness of domestic science. The head of the university also paid special attention to the issues of attracting students to research work and the development of academic mobility.
During the meeting, the heads of research institutes made their suggestions and expressed their willingness to implement joint projects with KazNU.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop a joint work plan for specific projects.
