The rector met with young scientists working in the field of AI
Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with young university scientists implementing scientific projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
The group of young researchers included: Scientific director of the AGI Research Center, Associate Professor Baghlan Imanbek, Head of the AGI Labs laboratory Nurdaulet Tasmurzayev and head of the Super Intelligence Labs laboratory Beybarys Amangeldy. They are currently implementing innovative projects using artificial intelligence in medicine, agriculture, new technologies, digitalization and other industries.
During the meeting, innovative projects implemented at the university were presented, as well as issues related to the development of AI technologies and their implementation in the educational process.
The young scientists spoke about the main directions and the achieved results of the research carried out in the laboratories.
The head of the educational institution, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, highly appreciated the initiatives of the researchers and noted that the university would continue to provide comprehensive support. In addition, the rector said that he would assist in expanding the space of scientific laboratories to ensure comfortable working conditions for researchers.
As a result of the meeting, specific tasks of scientific projects in the field of artificial intelligence, commercialization of practical results and integration with educational programs were identified.
