Representatives of the coalition held a meeting with young IT specialists
Representatives of the National Coalition headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Minister of Culture and Information, Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Constitutional Reforms Aida Balayeva met with active youth and representatives of the IT sector at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The event was attended by members of the Constitutional Reform Commission, IT specialists, academic teachers and students.
The meeting was opened by Chairman of the Management Board, Rector of Al–Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, familiarizing the guests with the achievements of the educational institution in the field of robotics and digital technologies. He noted that the creation of a Nationwide coalition in support of the new Constitution is a clear manifestation of the renewal of society.
The Rector emphasized the historical importance of the national referendum, which will be held on March 15, noting that the active position of every citizen directly affects the future of the country.
In her speech, Aida Balayeva noted that the draft of the new Constitution clearly demonstrates the country's transition from a raw material model of development to a stage based on human capital. "In the draft of the new Constitution, human capital is clearly defined as the main priority of the country's development. Special importance is attached to education, science, culture and innovation, and support for national culture and the preservation of historical and cultural heritage are elevated to the level of constitutional principles. This shows that the future of the state is based not only on natural resources, but above all on educated citizens with high intellectual potential",- the minister stressed. In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister called on young people to actively participate in the upcoming national referendum, express their civic position and vote. She stressed that the referendum is a crucial stage when every citizen of Kazakhstan makes an important decision regarding the future of the country.

During the meeting, the students also expressed their opinions. Chairman of the Alliance of Students of Almaty, Student Ombudsman of Almaty city, 4th-year student of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Aybolat Nygmetzhanuly said that the constitutional changes reflected important areas for young people, including the development of science, digitalization and support for artificial intelligence. He stressed the importance of active participation of young people in socially significant processes.

During the meeting, the participants also discussed issues of digitalization, artificial intelligence, innovative youth projects and public support for constitutional reforms, and also got acquainted with the work of the Robotics Center.
