KazNU Press Service participated in the international conference
Representatives of the press service of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the international conference "Media Space of Kazakhstan: modern processes and development prospects", which was held within the framework of the media forum of the Caspian Littoral states.
During the conference, which took place on the basis of Astrakhan State University named after V. N.Tatishchev, scientists, experts and representatives of the mass media of Kazakhstan and Russia discussed topical issues of the media sphere. The event was attended by Vladimir Golovkov, Minister of External Relations of the Astrakhan Region, Kanat Khasenov, Consul General of Kazakhstan in Astrakhan, Mikhail Rudov, representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Astrakhan, university management and representatives of the academic community.

The event also brought together representatives of the TV channel, part of the Jibek Joly Presidential Television and Radio Complex, the press service of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 31 and 24kz TV channels, and the Atpress website.

Director of the Department of Information and Communications Kanshayim Baidaulet, Head of the Press Service Department Nursultan Zheksenbayev and Head of the Farabi Media TV Studio Bakhyt Kurmanbekov shared their experience in the field of media at the university. The participants got acquainted with the image films created on the basis of the KazNU press service, the republican newspaper "Qazaq Universiteti" and prepared books of various fields.

During the round table, Vladimir Golovkov stressed that the media is not only a tool for spreading information, but also an important platform for strengthening interstate economic and humanitarian ties. According to the Minister, Kazakhstan is one of the key partners of the Astrakhan region, and the Caspian Media Forum has become a stable platform for professional dialogue between specialists from the two countries.

"This issue is especially relevant for our region, as Kazakhstan is one of the key partners of the Astrakhan region. One of the mechanisms of our interaction is the media sphere, and we also discuss many issues at the Caspian Media Forum. This traditional event has proven to be an effective platform for communication between media professionals and experts. Today's event is a continuation of this forum",- Vladimir Golovkov said.

Within the framework of the conference, academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio, KazNU Professor Manshuk Mukasheva made a presentation on the topic "Peculiarities of media specialists training in the higher education system of Kazakhstan", emphasizing the importance of educational cooperation between the two countries. In turn, Galina Belolipskaya, Head of the Department of Journalism and Media Communications at Astrakhan State University, presented modern models of media education.

Following the meeting, the participants agreed to further expand cooperation in the field of media between Kazakhstan and Russia, enhance the exchange of experience and the implementation of joint projects.
