KazNU updated the legacy of academician Tolegen Tazhibayev
The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the international scientific and practical conference "Psychological and pedagogical research in ensuring sustainable development: prospects and continuity of tradition", dedicated to the 116th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding statesman, scientist, academician T.T.Tazhibayev.
The event, organized by the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, was attended by the university's leadership, leading scientists, experts, faculty and students.

At the opening of the conference, a special congratulatory letter from Chairman of the Board – Rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev was read out by the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science Bekzhan Meirbayev.

"This meeting intertwines historical roots, scientific traditions and guidelines for future development. The ideas of academician T.T.Tazhibayev on personality education, the development of national identity and the formation of a unique scientific school still have not lost their relevance and serve as the foundation for the training of a new generation of personnel",- the rector noted in his letter.

In his speech, the dean emphasized the scale of the academician's personality.: "Tolegen Tazhibaev is one of those scientists who have made a special contribution to the development of Russian psychology and pedagogy. His activities were not limited to science: he made great efforts to create the diplomatic service of Kazakhstan and strengthen international relations".

The international status of the conference was confirmed by the participation of foreign partners, including Professor of Gazi University Yudzhel Gelishli, Professor of RUDN University Dmitry Ermakov, associate professor of the Tashkent Pharmacological Institute Bariokhon Boltaeva and others.

The discussions covered a wide range of issues, from the development of soft skills to the introduction of innovations in the credit-modular learning system. The participants emphasized the need to integrate classical heritage into modern educational strategies.
