In order to systematically implement the Sustainable Development Goals and foster a culture of social responsibility within 91��ý Kazakh National University, a charity campaign titled “Zhaksylik Zhasap Zharysayik” was organized within the framework of SDG 10 — Reduced Inequalities. This initiative aimed to support the university’s sustainable development principles and promote the values of social justice, equality, and mutual support among students.

The event was organized by first-year students of the educational program “Finance” of the Higher School of Economics and Business under the supervision of curators-advisors Supugalieva G.I. and Zhumadilova T.B. Special attention was given to developing students’ social engagement and supporting their volunteer initiatives.

The event was held during the holy month of Ramadan. As part of the campaign, dates and water were distributed to students residing in Dormitory No. 16 for iftar (breaking the fast). Despite its simplicity, this act became an important expression of social support and spiritual solidarity. For students from different regions living in the dormitory, such care contributes to a sense of belonging to the university community and strengthens unity.

SDG 10 aims to reduce inequalities within and among countries. At the university level, this goal is implemented through supporting vulnerable groups, creating an inclusive environment, ensuring equal access to education, and promoting mutual respect and support among students. This campaign became one of the practical steps in achieving this goal.

It is important to note that the event was not limited to providing material assistance. It was also aimed at enhancing students’ social responsibility, promoting charity values, and strengthening solidarity. Students involved in organizing the campaign developed skills in planning, coordination, communication, and teamwork, contributing to the formation of active citizenship and social awareness.

In conclusion, the charity campaign “Zhaksylik Zhasap Zharysayik” became a vivid example of student initiative and social responsibility. Such activities strengthen the values of equality, compassion, and mutual support within the university community and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
