🎓⚖️ Students of the Educational Program “Law Enforcement Activity” within the System of Volunteer Development and Continuity of Public Service
Students of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics actively participate in volunteer activities aimed at fostering legal culture, anti-corruption awareness, and civic responsibility among youth.
On February 25, representatives of the Department took part in the Youth Volunteer Forum held at the Институт Сорбонна–Казахстан under КазНПУ имени Абая. The forum brought together more than 200 student volunteers, including law student volunteers from various universities in Almaty. The event was organized by the Комиссия по правам человека при Президенте Республики Казахстан in cooperation with the National Volunteer Movement Акселератор добра: Ізгілік Елшісі.
The discussions focused on the role of volunteerism in shaping legal awareness, strengthening the principles of legality and justice, and promoting anti-corruption and civic culture. Of particular importance is the inclusion in the draft new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan of a provision supporting and encouraging volunteer activity, reflecting state-level recognition of volunteer work.
It is important to emphasize the continuity of generations: the Department’s graduates passed the volunteer initiative on to first-year students, who have already actively engaged in public service activities.
We are proud that our students not only acquire professional knowledge but also implement the social mission of a future lawyer — serving society, protecting human rights, and strengthening the rule of law.
Volunteerism is a conscious choice in favor of responsibility and justice. 🤍
