Cooperation with Shaanxi Province is expanding
A delegation of the People's Government of Shaanxi Province (PRC), headed by Vice Governor Li Jun, paid a working visit to Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The visit was aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and getting acquainted with the activities of the branch of the Northwestern Polytechnic University (NWPU), which successfully operates on the basis of KazNU.
The delegation of Shaanxi Province was met by Margulan Ibraimov, Member of the Board, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at KazNU. The parties discussed in detail the issues of the branch's development.
The foreign group included the heads of key departments: Deputy Secretary General of the Provincial People's Government Lei Jiangsheng, Head of the International Affairs Office Yao Hongjuan, as well as representatives of the Department of Commerce and the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
Kong Tse, President of the branch and Dean of the NWPU International College, told the honored guests about the achievements of the department. Vice Governor Li Jun personally talked with the students, noting the high level of their training and the importance of obtaining high-quality technical education for the future of both countries.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to conduct research projects in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence on the basis of the Huibo center, as well as to train undergraduates according to an agreed curriculum. In addition, it was decided to jointly implement areas related to the organization and holding of scientific conferences, forums and seminars on artificial intelligence, robotics and digital technologies.
