Artificial Intelligence as an Element of Innovative Development of Digital Kazakhstan
On February 27, 2026, an event titled “Artificial Intelligence as an Element of Innovative Development of Digital Kazakhstan” was held at the Faculty of International Relations of 91传媒 Kazakh National University. The meeting brought together experts in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, innovation, and law. Representatives of the non-governmental organization “TechnoWomenKz,” research institutes, as well as directors and managers of technological projects participated in the event.
During the meeting, participants discussed key directions for the development of artificial intelligence in the Republic of Kazakhstan, issues of legal regulation of digital technologies, and prospects for introducing innovative solutions into public administration, the economy, and the education sector. Particular attention was paid to issues of information security, personal data protection, and the development of an effective legal framework for digital technologies.
Speakers from the Department of International Law presented reports on the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in the legal system of Kazakhstan and analyzed international experience in AI regulation. The presentations attracted considerable interest from participants and contributed to an active discussion on the role of modern technologies in the development of legal science and practice.
In addition, the event addressed prospects for cooperation between the academic community, technology companies, and public organizations in developing digital solutions and innovative projects. Participants emphasized the importance of an interdisciplinary approach that brings together legal experts, IT specialists, and researchers to create a sustainable ecosystem for digital development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was noted that the development of artificial intelligence technologies is one of the key factors in modernizing Kazakhstan’s economy and increasing its competitiveness on the international stage. Such events contribute to the exchange of experience, the advancement of scientific research, and the development of new initiatives aimed at integrating modern technologies into various spheres of public life.
