A virtual eco-advisor has been launched in KazNU
The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has developed and implemented a virtual eco-advisor EcoFarabi AI. This digital platform is aimed at increasing environmental awareness of society, popularizing the principles of sustainable development and supporting environmental protection initiatives.
The digital platform is in line with the university's sustainable development strategy and is presented as an innovative solution for the formation of an ecological culture using modern technologies.
EcoFarabi AI helps users to increase environmental responsibility in their daily lives. The virtual assistant provides tips on proper waste sorting, informs about eco-friendly activities on campus, and offers helpful recommendations on a sustainable lifestyle. In addition, the platform provides information support in the areas of energy conservation, efficient use of water, the use of "green" technologies and the formation of a culture of nature conservation.
The developers of the platform are teachers of the Higher School of Economics and Business of KazNU Assel Boranbai and Ilyas Kuliyev. The digital program is aimed at supporting the Clean Kazakhstan National Initiative.
According to the authors, in the future it is planned to expand the EcoFarabi AI platform by introducing it into other higher education institutions, schools and public spaces. It also provides for the addition of a mobile application, voice control, a video character for explanations, online environmental lessons and interactive tests.
According to experts, the platform will be useful not only to the university community, but also to a wide audience: students, teachers, city residents, schoolchildren, youth organizations and all citizens interested in environmental issues can receive useful information through EcoFarabi AI.
In addition, EcoFarabi AI invites users to participate in clean-up activities, tree planting campaigns, green zone development, and other environmental protection activities.
The platform is available in the chatbot format via the Telegram application, which allows you to quickly and conveniently receive environmental information and advice.
