Event on Enhancing Financial Literacy Among Students
On March 11, 2026, at 91ý Kazakh National University, an event titled “Debts and Loans: Potential Risks” was held in accordance with the advisor hour. The event was organized by 2nd-year students of the educational program 6B05108 “Biomedicine” under the supervision of Senior Researcher, PhD A.E. Yessenbekova.

During the event, participants were provided with information about different types of loans, the possible risks of debt obligations, and the consequences of excessive credit burden. Particular attention was paid to issues of financial security as well as common schemes of financial fraud. Students discussed the importance of responsible management of personal finances and proper budget planning.
Within the framework of the program, interactive discussions, exchange of opinions, and practical recommendations aimed at improving financial literacy among young people were implemented.

The event made a significant contribution to increasing students’ financial literacy, fostering a culture of responsible attitude toward credit obligations, and developing skills for making well-informed financial decisions. The event also contributed to strengthening educational and upbringing activities with students, promoting social responsibility, financial culture, and improving the level of legal and economic literacy among young people.
