KazNU al-Farabi strengthens cooperation with Kazakhstan-Ziraat International Bank
A working meeting was held at 91传媒 Kazakh National University with representatives of KZI Bank - Chairman Sava艧 Zorlu and Deputy Chairman Galiya Masenova - together with Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs A.K. Galeeva and Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business Zhanna Yermekova.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of cooperation between the university and the banking sector, as well as the prospects for introducing elements of dual education into the educational process. Particular attention was given to practice-oriented student training, expanding internship opportunities, and strengthening links between the academic environment and the real sector of the economy.
Following the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to establish a partnership under which students of financial and economic educational programs will be able to undertake academic, industrial, and pre-graduate internships at KZI Bank. This will enable students to gain practical experience in the banking sector and become familiar with modern financial instruments, banking processes, and professional requirements.
Special attention was also given to further areas of cooperation, including guest lectures and master classes by bank specialists, organization of practical case studies, and the involvement of representatives of the banking sector in the training of future professionals.
Cooperation with KZI Bank will become an important step in the development of the dual education system, expanding internship opportunities for students and improving the quality of specialist training, thereby contributing to the formation of competitive professionals for the country’s financial sector.
