Financial Literacy among Students: Managing Income and Expenses

On March 11, 2026, an informational and curator hour titled “Accounting for Income and Expenses and Effective Financial Management” was held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of 91ý Kazakh National University.

The event brought together 2nd and 4th year students who engaged in an active discussion on financial literacy in Islam. During the discussion, students explored Islamic financial principles, including honesty, zakat, debt, and investment.

Participants also examined the moral and legal aspects of personal financial management and shared practical examples. The discussion highlighted the importance of financial literacy in modern society and encouraged students to make responsible financial decisions.

The event was organized by Senior Curator of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies Mukhan Nurzat and Deputy Dean for Social and Educational Affairs of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science Ayazbayeva B.B.
