Open Mind Hall intellectual space opened in KazNU
The grand opening of the Open Mind Hall coworking space took place at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The new center is intended to become a territory of free thinking, interdisciplinary research and constructive dialogue for students and young scientists.

The project was implemented on the initiative of the Center for Religious Studies and Expertise at the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies in partnership with the IHSAN Center for Science and Culture.

As the dean of the faculty, Bekzhan Meirbayev, noted in his speech, the appearance of such a platform is the result of an effective social partnership between the university, government agencies and business. "This is a space for "free thinking", interdisciplinary scientific research and spiritual and cognitive development of young people. Our common goal is the scientific study of social and humanitarian problems, the prevention of destructive ideologies and the strengthening of the spiritual security of society",- Bekzhan Berikbayevich emphasized.

The dean also added that with the support of the rector of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, such initiatives aimed at unlocking the potential of young people are being implemented at the university on a systematic basis.

Akzhol Asanov, Deputy Head of the Center for Research of Problems in the Religious Sphere of the Almaty region Department of Religious Affairs, Daulet Kazkenov, Head of the Center for Research and Rehabilitation of Problems in the Religious Sphere of the Zhetysu region Department of Religious Affairs, and others also spoke at the event.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the guests were presented with the updated book collection of the Center for Religious Studies and Expertise. Timur Nusuphanov, Deputy Director of the IHSAN Center, gave a presentation on literature.

The event also included a meeting and exchange of views with students and a scientific and practical seminar on "Topical issues of religion and the importance of scientific research", during which participants discussed the implementation of joint scientific and educational projects and issues of coordination of research and rehabilitation work in the religious sphere.
