"Historical Awareness as the Foundation of Humanitarian Security"
As part of the "Taza Kazakstan" environmental culture development concept, a discussion on "Historical Awareness as the Foundation of Humanitarian Security" was held on January 30, 2026, under the leadership of Acting Professor Z. Maidanali of the Department of History of Kazakhstan. First-year students majoring in Finance (6B04106) at the HSE University of Economics and Business (HSE) participated. Periods of political, economic, and social transformation are complex stages in the formation and development of Kazakhstan's statehood. Therefore, developing historical awareness is more important than ever. Scientifically grounded historical knowledge about the nation's past, its historical achievements, and its role and place in the global historical process contributes to understanding the present and the continuity of the historical role of different generations.
