Olga Lozhnikova has been working in KazNU for more than 30 years. She is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism and has taught many Kazakhstani journalists journalism skills, editing, and professional ethics. Her former students work in almost all Kazakhstani editorial offices, many abroad. And they are all grateful to Olga Petrovna not only for her science, but also for the fact that she taught them to be honest, to understand what professional duty is, and most importantly, to proudly bear the title of graduate of the Kazakh National University.
As the educator at the Faculty of Journalism O. Lozhnikova is engaged in scientific work. He is the author of the published scientific articles on the problems of the media in Kazakhstan. Three articles have been published in the Scopus database, which includes five author's papers of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Co-author of the monograph "Intellectual Capital as the Basis of Social Development in Kazakhstan", which was published in Great Britain. He was awarded the honorary title" honorary worker of Education", Jubilee Medals of kaznu im. Al-Farabi. At the 90th anniversary of the University, the state award was awarded – the medal "袝褉械薪 械遥斜械谐i 爷褕i薪".
The university staff knows O.Lozhnikova as the deputy chairman of the Parasat trade union. Today, trade unions have a special role to play. The forms and methods of trade union activity are constantly being improved, because they must take into account all the changes taking place in the country. During Olga Lozhnikova's work in the trade union committee, the Collective Agreement was adjusted several times. In connection with the transfer of KazNU to the NAO, amendments were made to the Charter of the trade union. After the adoption of the new "Law on Trade Unions" in 2014, it was necessary to amend the "袩邪褉邪褋邪褌" Charter. And Olga Lozhnikova actively helped to implement all these changes.
Olga Lozhnikova is an excellent example of a combination of scientific, pedagogical and social work.
