Faculty Social Initiative within SDG 1
A charitable event aimed at supporting students was held at Dormitory No. 15 of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences. The initiative was proposed and implemented by the faculty members. As part of the event, a traditional dastarkhan was prepared for more than 100 students.
The purpose of the event was not only to provide social support but also to foster a culture of organization, mutual respect, responsibility, and cohesion among students.
The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, contributing to stronger mutual understanding between students and faculty, as well as promoting a supportive social environment.
This initiative reflects the practical implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 1, which focuses on reducing social inequality, supporting vulnerable groups, and ensuring basic living conditions for all.
Such initiatives promote a culture of mutual assistance, social responsibility, and solidarity, strengthening the values of support and equal opportunities within the university community.
Thus, the event demonstrates the university’s contribution to achieving global sustainable development goals through concrete social and educational practices.
