The legal literacy of young people in Kazakhstan is an important social and educational topic directly related to the development of civil society, the rule of law and a culture of law—abiding.
On March 12, 2026, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology conducted an interactive «Legal Quiz» within the framework of the «Law and Order» direction, aimed at improving students' legal literacy.
The event was actively attended by 1st and 3rd year students of the Meteorology specialty of the Russian and Kazakh departments.
At the beginning of the meeting, the participants were provided with information about the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the rights and duties of citizens, as well as upcoming reforms and planned changes to the current legislation.
The main part of the event was a quiz in which three student teams competed. The participants demonstrated a high level of legal literacy by actively answering questions and participating in discussions.
According to the results of the quiz, all the teams were awarded prizes.
