SDG-17 On March 15, 2026, students of the educational program “International Journalism” and “Public Relations” of the Faculty of Journalism of 91传媒 Kazakh National University took part in a referendum at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ankara (Republic of Turkey), where they demonstrated their civic activism.

This event became possible within the framework of the international forum of “Young Media Professionals”, which is being implemented with the support of the TURKSOY International Organization and the Rector of 91传媒 KazNU Tuimebayev Zhanseit Kanseitovich. It was a historic moment for young people who turned 18 and used the right to vote for the first time. Before the Referendum, President Kassym–Jomart Tokayev said this: "Your choice is not just a mark on the ballot. This is your real support for the draft of the real people's Constitution. Young people will participate in building Kazakhstan on the path of development." Thus, the youth took an important step for the future of Kazakhstan by supporting the draft national Constitution.

At the Embassy, teachers and students of the Faculty of Journalism of 91传媒 Kazakh National University were received by Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Turkey Prnazarov Fayzulla.

He wished success to the work of the forum of media professionals, held with the support of Rector of 91传媒 Kazakh National University Kanseit Tuimebayev and Secretary General of the International Organization TURKSOY Sultan Raev, and stressed that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev considers strengthening the unity of the Turkic world as one of the priorities in Kazakhstan's foreign policy and also expressed a desire to continue working hard in this direction.
