Within the framework of spiritual and moral education, students visited the Gabit Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Youth.
On April 2, 2026, 1st–4th year students of the Department of Information Systems, under the guidance of Senior Lecturer and Deputy for Academic and Educational Affairs Bakhytgul Ilessova, attended the premiere of the play “Korgansyz” at the Gabit Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth.
This cultural event was aimed at fostering students’ spiritual development, enhancing their aesthetic appreciation, and increasing their interest in national literature and theatrical art. Theatre, as a unique cultural environment, plays a significant role in shaping personality, emotional intelligence, and cultural awareness among young people.
The play explores themes of vulnerability, injustice, and the complexity of human destiny. Through the story of a Kazakh girl, the audience was able to deeply experience the harsh realities of life. In particular, the character of Gaziza vividly illustrated the position of women in society, their vulnerability, and their inner emotional struggles. Her story represents not only a personal tragedy but also a broader reflection of social issues.
Each scene was distinguished by the actors’ professional performance, well-thought-out directorial decisions, and a harmonious combination of lighting and sound. The production fully immersed the audience in the unfolding events, creating a strong emotional impact. The scenes depicting the main character’s emotional suffering and inner conflict were especially powerful and resonated deeply with viewers.
After the performance, students actively shared their impressions and discussed the play. Many highlighted the realism of the сюжет and the depth of the characters. Gaziza’s story evoked empathy, encouraged reflection on moral values, and prompted discussions about social challenges. The silence in the hall during the performance reflected the audience’s deep engagement and emotional involvement.
Such cultural activities contribute to broadening students’ perspectives, strengthening their moral values, and fostering respect for national culture. Theatre is not only a place of art but also an important tool for education, critical thinking, and emotional development.
This event became an important step in organizing meaningful student activities and enriching their spiritual life. It is expected that such cultural initiatives will continue in the future.
