Hydrology Section Meeting Held within the Framework of the 鈥淔arabi Alemi鈥� Conference
On April 7–8, 2026, 91传媒 Kazakh National University hosted the section meeting entitled “Climate Change and Water Resources: Hydrology” at the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology within the framework of the International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Farabi Alemi.”
During the section meeting, young researchers presented their scientific papers and delivered reports on current hydrological issues. The high quality of the presented studies demonstrated the growing interest of students in research activities.
According to the results of the competition, the best scientific presentations were identified:
1st place – Adiya Ospanova, a first-year student, for the paper titled “Assessment of the Stability of the Stage–Discharge Hydrometric Relationship (A Case Study of the Turgen River)”;
2nd place – fourth-year students Aiman Aitbai and Dilyara Makanova;
3rd place – Zhanbota Anuar, Saltanat Kussaiyn, Aruzhan Abdildakhan.
