On April 7, 2026, a discussion on the role of physics in achieving SDG 13 was held with second-year students of the Physics and Engineering Faculty. Climate action (SDG 13) is one of the 17 UN goals that calls for urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.

During the event, students were introduced to modern physical approaches to studying climate processes, including atmospheric modeling, greenhouse effect analysis, and the impact of anthropogenic factors on the environment. Students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions. The event was prepared by E.E. Khairusheva.
