SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation 鈥� An Important Topic for Future Managers
On April 6, 2026, an event dedicated to one of the Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 6 “Clean Water and Sanitation” — was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business with first-year students majoring in Management.
The main purpose of the event was to help students understand the importance of conserving water resources and following sanitation standards in everyday life. During the event, participants discussed the problems of clean water scarcity and pollution, as well as explored ways to use water more efficiently and responsibly.
Students prepared short reports and presentations highlighting the situation regarding access to clean water both globally and in Kazakhstan. They also proposed their own ideas for preserving water resources and improving sanitation conditions.
Special attention was given to the role each individual can play in conserving water. Students actively participated in discussions, shared their opinions and personal experiences, demonstrating strong interest and awareness of the topic.
The event was held in an engaging and productive atmosphere, contributing to the development of environmental awareness and responsible behavior among students. The objectives of the event were successfully achieved.
