KazNU hosts the republican exhibition "Study in Kazakhstan"

The republican educational exhibition "Study in Kazakhstan" is being held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main purpose of the large–scale event is to comprehensively familiarize future applicants with the priorities of higher education in the country and current educational programs.

The KazNU-based exhibition brought together representatives of more than 60 leading higher education institutions in Kazakhstan and branches of reputable foreign universities opened in our country. In the morning alone, the event was attended by more than 3,500 schoolchildren and parents of the Almaty metropolis.

Alina Galeeva, Member of the Board and ViceRector for Academic Affairs of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, spoke at the opening ceremony. In her report, she stressed the strategic importance of making informed career choices in an era of global change and noted that the university creates all conditions for young people to receive quality education.

Ruslan Emelbayev, Adviser to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Farkhat Sultabayev, a well-known UNT expert, also addressed the applicants. They gave practical recommendations on preparing for testing, receiving government grants, and shared valuable tips on how to avoid mistakes when choosing a future specialty.

Within the framework of the exhibition, branches of world-class educational institutions such as the New York Film Academy, Coventry University, The University of Arizona and The City University of Hong Kong actively present their programs.

It is worth noting that the exhibition will last until the evening. Not only informational consultations are organized for students, but also master classes from ENT experts, as well as exciting campus tours of the university. During the exhibition, high school students and their parents were given the opportunity to receive direct expert advice on government grants, learning conditions and future employment prospects.
