On April 10 at 10:00 a.m., the Faculty of Law held an event under SDG 13: Climate Action. The topic was: Global Warming + Taza Kazakhstan.
The goal of the event was to analyze the causes and consequences of global warming in the context of SDG 13, assess current risks to ecosystems and society, and identify key mitigation and adaptation measures.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages Atabaeva G.K.and first-year students of the Faculty of Law organized the event. Sandia, a PhD student from the University of Delhi, India, joined via Zoom and presented a report on air pollution in India.
Alina Kanzhibek, a first-year student at Northwestern Political and Law University (China), currently studying at the Faculty of Law at 91ý Kazakh National University on a student exchange program, also presented slides on air pollution in China. First-year students from the Faculty of Law also gave presentations on global warming and air pollution in Almaty. Students from the Almaty Civil Aviation Academy also joined the debate via Zoom.
All participants actively participated in this event, which analyzed the causes and consequences of global warming, assessed current risks to ecosystems and society, and outlined key mitigation and adaptation measures.
