KazNU students won the republican contest "AI SANA"
The KazNU AI Solutions team, created under the auspices of the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, won a landslide victory in the AI SANA – Digital Kazakhstan: Projects of the Future contest in the "Best Educational Project" nomination.
A large-scale intellectual competition was held at Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov. The event was held as part of the implementation of the state innovation program "AI Sana", aimed at accelerating the country's digital transformation and supporting talented youth. In the final stage of the competition, representatives of 14 leading universities of Kazakhstan, who passed a strict pre-selection, faced off.
Under the guidance of Aman Musa, a lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, students of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data defended the honor of KazNU: Yerkezhan Tleukulova, Arnur Agabekov and Aiganym Nurzhan. The team presented to the expert jury a unique development, the AI MamaCare intelligent system. It is a digital platform created for comprehensive support of women in the postpartum period. The project operates in three languages (Kazakh, Russian and English), which makes it accessible to a wide range of users.
AI MamaCare is not just a technological solution, but an important social tool at the intersection of medicine and AI. The platform is designed to provide qualified information support, helping new mothers cope with the difficulties of the postpartum stage. Experts noted the high social significance and educational potential of the development.
