At 91ý Kazakh National University, a significant event in student life took place — the announcement of the results of the annual competition “FARABI ÚZDIGI: STUDENT GROUP-2026,” organized by the “Sunkar” Student and Master’s Trade Union. This competition is traditionally aimed at identifying the most active, cohesive, and high-performing academic groups that demonstrate outstanding achievements in academic, scientific, social, and educational activities.
According to the results of the competition, first place was awarded to the educational program “6B05304 – Physics.” This achievement is the result of the students’ consistent efforts, strong academic motivation, active participation in research activities, and engagement in university life. The victory reflects a well-established culture of teamwork, leadership, and responsibility within the academic group.
A significant contribution to this success was made by the group curator, Orazymbet A.T., who effectively organized interaction with students, created a supportive educational environment, and encouraged student initiatives. Under her guidance, students not only successfully master the academic program but also actively participate in conferences, research projects, and social initiatives, demonstrating a high level of competence and professional growth.
The “FARABI ÚZDIGI” competition evaluates participants based on several criteria, including academic performance, participation in scientific events, publication activity, social responsibility, and contribution to the development of the university community. The “6B05304 – Physics” group demonstrated high performance across all criteria, confirming its status as one of the leading academic groups at the faculty and university levels.
It is important to note that this achievement directly aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 — “Quality Education.” The implementation of quality education principles involves not only high-level teaching but also the development of key 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, research abilities, teamwork, and social responsibility. The success of the physics students clearly demonstrates the effective integration of these principles into the educational process.

Participation and success in such competitions contribute to the development of leadership qualities, strengthening team spirit, and fostering active citizenship among students. Moreover, it enhances the prestige of the educational program and the university, highlighting the high level of training of specialists in physics who are in demand both nationally and internationally.
The university leadership places special emphasis on supporting student initiatives and creating conditions for comprehensive student development. The “FARABI ÚZDIGI” competition serves as an effective tool for implementing this policy.
The victory of the “6B05304 – Physics” program is not only recognition of past achievements but also a motivation for future growth. Students and faculty intend to maintain high academic and scientific standards, actively participate in university life, and contribute to the development of higher education in Kazakhstan.
Furthermore, such achievements strengthen the international image of the university, expand academic cooperation, and attract talented youth to scientific research. In the context of globalization, the integration of science, education, and innovation becomes especially important.
Thus, the success of the “6B05304 – Physics” students is a clear example of the effective implementation of an educational strategy focused on quality, innovation, and sustainable development.
