Brief description of the event |
On April 17, 2026, a field-based scientific and educational course on the topic “Restoration of saline soils” was organized by the faculty members of the Department of Biotechnology — Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor R.K. Sydykbekova; Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor R.Zh. Berzhanova; Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor T.D. Mukasheva; PhD, Associate Professor A.A. Omirbekova; as well as Senior Lecturers N.K. Bektileuova and A. Zhunisjan — within the framework of the globally relevant SDG 15 for employees of BioClean LLP and students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School (NIS) specializing in chemistry-biology and physics-mathematics. During the event, information was presented on the development and implementation of effective biological, agronomic, and environmental methods aimed at reducing the degradation of saline soils, restoring their fertility, and increasing their stability and productivity. |
