The Use of AI as a Requirement of the Modern Era
On April 17, 2026, Senior Lecturer's of the Department of Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology and Computer Physics, Zhangali Moldabekov, Ussenkhan S. organized an educational and practice-oriented event with third-year students of the “Cyberphysics” program on the topic “The Use of Artificial Intelligence as a Requirement of the Modern Era.” The main purpose of the event was to increase students’ interest in modern digital technologies, deepen their understanding of the capabilities of artificial intelligence, and demonstrate ways of its effective application in science and industry.
During the event, the history of artificial intelligence, its key stages of development, and its rapidly evolving modern directions were thoroughly discussed. Students were introduced to fundamental concepts such as machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and big data processing. Special attention was given to real-world examples of AI applications in various fields, including medicine, energy, education, finance, and industry. These examples helped students better understand the importance and impact of AI in today’s world.
The event was conducted in an interactive format, which encouraged active participation. Students freely expressed their opinions, asked questions, and engaged in meaningful discussions. In particular, the application of artificial intelligence in the energy sector attracted significant interest. Topics such as efficient energy management, load forecasting, and the development of smart grids were discussed in detail. These areas are closely related to the Cyberphysics program and are highly relevant for future specialists.
As part of the event, students were also introduced to modern AI tools. Demonstrations included text generation systems, data analysis platforms, and basic machine learning models. This allowed participants to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications and inspired them to explore these technologies further on their own.
In the concluding session, participants discussed the future of artificial intelligence and its impact on the labor market. It was noted that AI technologies are expected to transform many professions in the near future, making it essential for students to continuously develop their digital skills and adapt to new challenges. Ethical considerations, data security, and responsible use of AI were also highlighted as important topics. Overall, the event had a positive impact on students’ professional development, broadened their perspectives, and strengthened their interest in innovative technologies. The use of artificial intelligence is not only a requirement of the present but also a key factor for success in the future.
