“Prevention of Offenses as a Primary Objective”
Senior Lecturer of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure, and Labor Law, Zh.S. Saparbekova, delivered a lecture for UIB College students on the topic “Prevention of Offenses as a Primary Objective.”
During the lecture, students were provided with a comprehensive explanation of the concept of offenses, their types and causes, as well as preventive measures addressing the most common offenses among youth. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of developing legal awareness and the obligation of every citizen to comply with the law.
Zh.S. Saparbekova focused on enhancing students’ legal literacy through the analysis of real-life situations and practical case studies. Special attention was given to modern challenges such as cyberbullying, vandalism, and gambling addiction (ludomania), along with an explanation of their legal consequences.
At the end of the session, students asked questions and engaged in an open discussion. Such events play a significant role in fostering legal consciousness among young people, promoting respect for the law, and preventing offenses.
