Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received the delegation of the UWEE Group.

The delegation included Chairman for Central Asia Slambol Orkes, Rotating Chairman Van Kerkhov Gilbert and Executive Director Yan Fei.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for developing partnership in the fields of energy and chemical industry, as well as possible areas of joint research projects.

Rector of the university Zhanseit Tuimebayev stressed the university's readiness to establish long-term strategic cooperation with the UWEE Group and noted the importance of forming joint research groups. According to him, such cooperation will contribute to strengthening the scientific potential of the university and the implementation of international projects.

In turn, Slambol Orkesh, Chairman for Central Asia, expressed gratitude to the university's management and staff for the warm welcome and spoke in detail about the company's key areas of activity. He noted the significant potential for the implementation of joint projects in the fields of energy, chemistry and petrochemistry, as well as the development of innovative technologies and the improvement of personnel training.

In addition, the Rector of the University held a meeting with the Deputy Director of China International Water Electric Corp. Sun Peng. The representative of the company spoke about the activities of the organization and proposed to implement joint initiatives aimed at the development of "green" energy.

He noted that the company has been successfully operating in Kazakhstan since 2006 and expressed readiness to implement joint innovative projects, highly appreciating the scientific potential of the university.

At the end of the meetings, Zhanseit Tuimebayev supported the proposals presented and confirmed the university's interest in further developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
