The best students in the field of security technologies have been identified
The XVIII Republican Subject Olympiad was held at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University under the organization of the UNESCO Department of Sustainable Development.
This intellectual competition is aimed at developing students' professional knowledge, identifying gifted youth and increasing their scientific and creative potential.The main goal of the Olympiad was to deepen theoretical knowledge in the field of life safety, develop skills for proper behavior in emergency situations and stimulate interest in mastering modern safety technologies.
13 teams from various higher educational institutions of the country took part in the competition. The students demonstrated a high level of knowledge and professional training. The Olympiad program included several stages: theoretical testing, situational tasks, as well as a final assessment of the participants' level of training.
The Olympiad was attended by a senior officer of the Civil Defense Department of the Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty, Lieutenant Colonel Sandugash Baymukhambetova, who highly appreciated the theoretical training and practical skills of the students.
Teams of leading agricultural, technical, energy, humanitarian and multidisciplinary universities of Kazakhstan took part in the Olympiad. The participants demonstrated their knowledge in Kazakh and Russian. At the end of the two-day event, the best participants were awarded prizes, diplomas and certificates. All participants received certificates of participation.
