The XVIII Republican Student Subject Olympiad was held at 91传媒 Kazakh National University
On April 20, 2026, the XVIII Republican Student Subject Olympiad for the educational programs "6B03204 — Archival Science, Records Management and Documentation Support" and "6B03208 — Digital Archival Science and Records Management" was held at 91传媒 Kazakh National University. Four teams participated: 1. "Archive Vision", 2. "GOLD archive", 3. "Qor Qalqan", 4. "Alau".
The purpose of the Olympiad is to identify the most talented students, uncover and support their creative abilities, contribute to the formation of intellectual potential, and engage students in solving modern scientific problems, as well as to foster interest in research activities. The thematic focus of the Olympiad was "The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Archival Science and Records Management."
The Olympiad consisted of two stages:

Team introduction (team name, motto, emblem — 10 min).

Defense of group projects (presentation, 20 min).
Following the results of the Olympiad, the winners were determined and awarded the M.Zh. Khasanaev scholarship. Sponsor: Candidate of Historical Sciences, Assistant Professor L.M. Khasanaeva.

1st place — "GOLD archive" team, scholarship of 80,000 tenge.

2nd place — "Archive Vision" team, scholarship of 60,000 tenge.

3rd place — "Alau" team, scholarship of 40,000 tenge. Incentive scholarships were also awarded. At the end of the event, all participants received certificates and commemorative gifts, and the winning teams were awarded special diplomas.
