Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received the Dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Transport of South China University of Technology, renowned scientist Yu Jiangmiao.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of conducting joint scientific research aimed at improving the quality of engineering education, as well as the development of civil engineering, transport infrastructure and modern technologies.

Yu Jianmiao spoke about his scientific research conducted to date and shared his plans for the future. In addition, he expressed interest in implementing international projects together with KazNU scientists and stressed the importance of mutual exchange of experience.

In turn, the head of the university, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, spoke about the main activities and capabilities of the university's research centers and modern laboratories, noting that KazNU has sufficient potential to implement joint initiatives within the framework of international cooperation. The rector also stressed that such cooperation would contribute to the development of the university's research activities and its integration into the global academic space.
