KazNU and Kazhydromet will jointly train specialists
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Kazhydromet RSE signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation and an agreement on conducting students' practical training.
The documents were signed within the framework of the Regional Environmental Summit in Astana by Vice-rector of KazNU Margulan Ibraimov and Director General of RSE Kazhydromet Danara Alimbayeva.
As part of the signed agreements, students of the specialties "Hydrology" and "Meteorology" were given the opportunity to complete an internship at the enterprise.
As part of the cooperation, the parties intend to join forces in developing the scientific competencies of students and experts, implementing joint research projects and participating in competitions for innovative grants. In addition, in order to strengthen ties between the university and the enterprise, work will be carried out to increase the academic mobility of students and teachers, organize joint scientific events and share research results.
Special attention is paid to the organization of professional practice, which is designed to consolidate the theoretical base of young people and form the necessary competencies in the field of hydrology and meteorology. It is also planned to hold joint scientific events and increase the publication activity of scientists within the framework of the partnership.
