From Theory to Practice: How International Students Shape the Future of Gender Equality
Modern higher education is a space for developing leaders capable of addressing global challenges. On April 20, 2026, Kulyash Alibekova, PhD of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, together with 3rd-year international students from Turkmenistan, held an INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP dedicated to UN SDG 5 — "Gender Equality."This project demonstrated how a practice-oriented approach transforms academic knowledge into social action.

The program included:
• Case Analysis: Reviewing real-world scenarios allowed students to develop strategies for overcoming barriers in their future professional environments.
• Interactive Discussion: In an open dialogue format, students tackled a practical dilemma: how to harmoniously balance career growth with the preservation of family values.

• Value Consensus: Participants defined the key competencies of a modern woman: education, civic responsibility, and a commitment to continuous self-development.
• Debates: Students practiced defending the principles of inclusivity and justice.
• Group Work: Collaborative activities were used to build teamwork skills necessary for achieving sustainable results.
• Reflection: A key moment where students recognized their roles as future specialists in promoting equality.

The event served as a platform for exchanging ideas, where future professionals learned to see tradition as a foundation for modern social transformation.
