«Law and Order: Human Rights, Health, and Responsibility»
At the invitation of the Almaty City Akimat's Internal Policy Department, I participated in a meeting with students of the S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University as part of a project by the Center for Public Development aimed at shaping public opinion.
The event, held in a "legal hour + case study" format, focused on the implementation of constitutional rights and freedoms, as well as the development of a health culture as an important component of responsible citizenship.
The presentation covered the key provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, focusing on the role of the principle of "law and order" in developing a legal culture among young people and ensuring citizens' rights, including the right to health care.
Also featured as a speaker was A.D. Shalbayeva, a deputy of the Almaty City Maslikhat and a candidate of medical sciences, who presented a practical perspective on disease prevention and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
A case study was conducted during the meeting with the students, allowing them to discuss real-life situations at the intersection of law and public health. This format generated keen interest and contributed to the development of legal thinking and civic responsibility.
The discussion demonstrated that the idea of "Adal Azamat" is gaining particular significance today, uniting legal awareness, responsibility, and respect for social values.
