On April 24, 2026, the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science at 91ý Kazakh National University successfully hosted an Open Day for prospective students. The event was aimed at providing future applicants with comprehensive information about the university’s educational opportunities, offering career guidance, and supporting them in making informed decisions about their academic and professional future.
During the event, school students were given detailed information about the university’s history, its international reputation, and the distinctive features and advantages of its educational system. In addition, the faculty’s academic programs in philosophy, political science, religious studies, cultural studies, and psychology were presented, with in-depth explanations of each specialization, the structure of the study process, and future career prospects. A special exhibition was organized for guests, showcasing the faculty’s scientific achievements, students’ research work, and creative projects.
The meeting also provided information on academic mobility programs, partnerships with foreign universities, and double-degree opportunities. Special attention was paid to student life, including presentations of youth organizations, debate clubs, research groups, and opportunities to participate in cultural events. This demonstrated the university’s supportive environment for holistic student development and increased participants’ interest.
As part of the program, interactive quizzes were held, featuring engaging and educational questions. Participants who gave correct answers received commemorative gifts from the university. This format not only encouraged active participation but also strengthened students’ interest in higher education.
The event was attended by around 60 school students and teachers, who received answers to their questions regarding admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, tuition fees, dormitory conditions, and other aspects of student life. The open dialogue format helped establish direct communication between prospective students and university representatives.
At the end of the event, guests expressed their gratitude to the organizers and emphasized the importance of such career-oriented meetings. The Open Day broadened students’ understanding of the university and had a positive impact on their future career choices.
