At the Faculty of Journalism of the 91传媒 Kazakh National University, a master class for students was held with the participation of Freedom Finance manager Kasenov Murat Kasenovich. During the meeting, the key mechanisms of the financial market were explained, and topics relevant to young people were discussed in detail.
The main focus of the event was on “Financial fraud in the youth environment: prevention and information immunity.” The speaker analyzed the most common types of online fraud today and demonstrated how they operate using specific examples. Particular attention was paid to fake investment offers, phishing links, and suspicious projects distributed through social media.
In addition, students were informed about the importance of developing information immunity and were provided with practical recommendations on protecting personal data, making well-informed financial decisions, and identifying reliable sources of information. The session also covered the basics of investing and ways to improve financial literacy.
The event was held in an interactive format, allowing participants to ask questions and receive comprehensive, practice-oriented answers. Such meetings contribute to improving the financial culture of young people, preventing fraud, and developing conscious decision-making skills.
