The conference was opened by Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev, emphasizing the importance of science and innovation for the development of the country.
"President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted in his speech: "Science and innovation are the main forces that increase the global competitiveness of our country." KazNU is not only an educational institution, but also a major research hub that forms the technological sovereignty of the country. The University gives priority to the direct connection of scientific research with production. Today's conference is a clear embodiment of this strategic direction. Innovations in the refrigeration industry and thermal physics are a great contribution to food security and energy efficiency of the country",- said the head of the university.

In turn, Igor Baranov, President of the International Academy of Refrigeration, focused on the role of the conference in strengthening international cooperation. He stressed that scientific research in the field of refrigeration and cryogenic technologies is of strategic importance for the modern world. According to the head of the academy, such platforms enhance the exchange of experience between scientists and pave the way for the creation of new scientific projects. "Modern science is a common space that knows no borders. Only through international partnership will we be able to accelerate technological progress",- Igor Baranov said.
