At the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management at 91��ý Kazakh National University, a meaningful and vibrant festive event was organized in honor of May 1 – the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.

As part of the event, a special highlight was the «Image of Unity» photo zone dedicated to the friendship of peoples. The photo zone became a unique space reflecting the cultural diversity, harmony, and unity of Kazakhstan’s multinational society. Students dressed in traditional costumes of various ethnic groups, presenting their customs and cultural features while taking memorable photos.

The main goal of the event was to promote friendship, mutual respect, and harmony among young people, as well as to increase interest in the cultural heritage of different nations. Every element of the photo zone – national ornaments, traditional costumes, and symbolic decorations – vividly conveyed the idea of unity and solidarity.

During the event, students not only took photos but also shared brief information about different cultures and exchanged warm wishes with one another. This contributed to strengthening friendships and fostering a deeper understanding of shared values.

Such events with strong educational value undoubtedly contribute to the spiritual development of students, enhance their sense of patriotism, and strengthen social harmony and stability. The «Image of Unity» photo zone became a bright symbol of friendship and unity.
