United Kazakhstan: Harmony and Unity as the Foundation of National Development
In April 2026, a ceremonial event titled “United Kazakhstan” was held at Student Residence No. 16 to celebrate May 1 — the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan.
The event brought together students from different regions and diverse ethnic backgrounds, showcasing harmony under one shared roof.
During the event, it was emphasized that the student residence is not merely a place to live, but a true space of friendship. Joint learning, mutual support, and creative initiatives strengthen solidarity among students.
Students actively embody the mission of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, which represents the unity of more than 130 ethnic groups and 18 religious denominations, promoting respect for cultural diversity.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16 — “Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.” Cultural dialogue within the residence fosters tolerance and modern intercultural ethics among students.
Shared values such as hospitality and openness enhance students’ sense of responsibility and encourage them to contribute to building a just “New Kazakhstan.”
“Our diversity is our wealth, and our unity is our strength”. In conclusion, the greatest asset of Kazakhstan is its unity and strong friendship.
