A ceremonial event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Zh.T. Kozhamkulova was held at the Faculty of the Higher School of Economics and Business, Department of Business Technologies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The юбилей became a significant event for the university’s academic community, bringing together colleagues, students, and alumni.

In honor of this milestone, as well as for her many years of dedicated work, high professionalism, and significant contribution to the development of national science and education, Zh.T. Kozhamkulova was awarded the “Eren enbegiushin” medal. This award recognizes her long-standing and fruitful efforts aimed at training highly qualified specialists and developing the country’s scientific potential.

The professional career of Zh.T. Kozhamkulova is closely connected with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. From 1996 to 2011, she worked at the Department of Marketing and Commerce; from 2011 to 2019, she served as Associate Professor at the Department of Management and Marketing. Since 2019 to the present, she has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Business Technologies. Her total academic and teaching experience amounts to 36 years, including 30 years of service to the university.

Zh.T. Kozhamkulova is actively engaged in teaching at all levels of higher education—bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs. She teaches courses such as “Strategic Marketing,” “Strategic Analysis in Marketing,” “Development of Managerial Decisions in Marketing,” “Organization of Advertising Activities,” “Methodology of Marketing Science,” and others. Her classes are distinguished by a high academic level, relevance, and practical orientation, contributing to the development of students’ professional and analytical competencies.

Alongside her teaching activities, Zh.T. Kozhamkulova is actively involved in scientific research. The total volume of her scientific and methodological publications exceeds 100 printed sheets. She has completed research internships at leading universities in China, South Korea, Australia, France, and Portugal, which testifies to her high professional level and international recognition.

Over the years, she has received numerous prestigious awards. In 1998, she became a laureate of the State Scientific Scholarship for talented young scientists of Kazakhstan, and in 2009, she was awarded the title “Best Teacher of Al-FarabiKazakh National University.” Her contribution to the organization of scientific activities is also significant: she served as Secretary of the Faculty Academic Council, Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Chair of the Methodological Council of the Higher School of Economics and Business, and trainer at the Center for Pedagogical Excellence.

Currently, Zh.T. Kozhamkulova holds the position of Deputy Scientific Editor of the journal “Vestnik KazNU. Economic Series,” continuing to actively contribute to the development of the university’s scientific environment.
