"The Era of Artificial Intelligence: What skills should a student have?"

The round table on the topic "The Era of Artificial Intelligence: What skills should a student have?" was held to discuss the key competencies required in the modern world. The main goal of the event was to reveal to students the increasing importance of lifelong learning in the context of the rapid development of neural networks and automation.

During the round table, students sought answers to the following questions: which professions might disappear, how AI is changing the labor market, and what human skills cannot be replaced by a machine. The relevance of this meeting is due to the fact that today artificial intelligence technologies are being introduced into all spheres of life, and students need to learn how to adapt to new realities in order to remain highly sought-after specialists.

The teacher explained the concept of artificial intelligence and briefly outlined its evolution. The students worked in groups, attempting to define concepts such as "soft skills," "adaptability," and "digital literacy."

The core skills of the future were discussed: critical thinking, emotional intelligence, creativity, teamwork, and skills in interacting with AI (prompt engineering). The students completed an interactive task — through brainstorming, they identified the main human advantages over machines.

Special attention was paid to the concept of "Lifelong learning." Modern educational platforms and self-education strategies were analyzed. Through specific examples, students understood the importance of constantly updating their knowledge to keep up with technological progress.

Practical scenarios were analyzed. Three specific situations (the implementation of AI in a future workplace, the risk of obsolescence of a current specialty, and the ethical use of neural networks for studying) were considered in a role-playing game format. Students answered the question "how would I adapt?", jointly determining the right vectors for professional development.

A 4-step plan was proposed on the topic "How to remain in demand?": analyze trends, learn new tools, apply in practice, share experience. Useful resources for self-development and platforms with AI mastery courses were also introduced.

The round table was held at a high level. Students participated actively and expressed their thoughts freely. The round table encouraged students to take a conscious approach to learning, develop mental flexibility, and be ready for constant self-improvement. This event became an important part of the professional and personal preparation of the youth.
