The international symposium "On the 100th anniversary of the First Baku Turkological Congress: Turkology and the Turkic World" was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

In this regard, the high-performance supercomputer cluster launched at the university has given a new impetus to the processing of big data and the advancement of the field of digital humanities. In order to promote the common heritage, the Institute of Turkology and Altaic Studies and the Center for Written Monuments are working fruitfully at our university. The Abduali Kaidar International Center for Turkic Culture and Heritage, opened last year, has brought academic cooperation between the fraternal countries to a new level",- said the rector.
